Vacuum Circuit Breakers are the core protective equipment of power systems, and their lifespan is directly related to maintenance quality. Mastering the following key maintenance steps can improve equipment reliability and reduce failure rates:
1. Vacuum arc extinguishing chamber detection (core)
-Vacuum degree detection:
Use a magnetron vacuum tester (such as ZKY-2000) to test at least once a year. When the vacuum degree is less than 10 ? Pa, the arc extinguishing chamber needs to be replaced.
Case: A chemical plant reduced its failure rate by 60% through regular inspections.
-Appearance inspection:
Observe whether the ceramic insulation tube has cracks (using an endoscope) and the degree of oxidation of the shielding cover (blackened area>30% needs to be treated).
2. Maintenance of spring mechanism (lubrication cycle)
-Energy storage spring:
Clean and apply molybdenum disulfide grease (suitable for -40 ℃~150 ℃) every 2000 operations or 2 years (whichever comes first).
-Mechanical life test:
Open and close 500 times without load, record the time parameters (opening ≤ 45ms, closing ≤ 80ms), and adjust the cam mechanism if it exceeds the tolerance.
Tip: Clean the old grease before lubrication, and it is strictly prohibited to mix different types of lubricants.
3. Installation of intelligent monitoring module (efficiency enhancement)
-Vibration sensor:
Monitor the impact waveform of opening and closing switches, and warn of connecting rod wear due to abnormal vibration (>5g).
-Temperature monitoring:
Install a wireless temperature probe (such as CT-08) on the moving contact bracket, and an automatic alarm will be triggered when the temperature exceeds 85 ℃.
Upgrade plan: Install LoRa module, upload data in real-time to the cloud platform, and support remote diagnosis.
